Large Dragon Skull Necklace
Though to me it resembles a dragon skull or miniature steer skull, this one of a kind, handmade necklace is actually created with the pelvic/backbone from an English Carrion Crow that has been Electroformed in a thick layer of pure copper. The pendant has a large round twisted bail and hangs from a 24” long antique copper drawn cable chain. Above the “skull” is a raw Black Kyanite broom set in an electroformed bezel, representing a ravens wing. A marquise shaped faceted Amethyst is set in the center of the “skull”. I have oxidized the copper for an aged patina and sealed it with a clear protective lacquer. This necklace is a statement piece! While this necklace may not be for everyone, it would make a great gift for the "Game of Thrones" fan or the mystically inclined. Part of my Black Kyanite “Send a Raven” Collection.
No birds were harmed in the creation of this piece, any skulls, bones, feathers, etc used were found in the wild and a result of natural causes.
