Handmade earrings with real Macaw feathers electroformed in copper and hung on handmade hypoallergenic Niobium hooks. The front of the feather has been left unplated to allow the natural blue color of the feather show. Oxidized finish for an antique patina and sealed with a clear protective lacquer.
These and all feathers used in my work are ethically sourced and cruelty free. These are naturally molted Macaw feathers that were acquired from a wild bird rescue. Proceeds from the sale of the feathers were used to further the rescue efforts.
