"Dragonfly in Amber"Handmade necklace with a real Dragonfly preserved inside a copper shell using the Electroforming process. A natural Herkimer diamond is set in an bezel between the wings, and a piece of raw Dominican Amber hangs below the tail on a short copper chain. The Dragonfly is double hung on a 17" antique copper chain with handmade hook and eye clasp with makers tag. The overall wingspan of the Dragonfly is approximately 3". Oxidized finish and sealed with a clear protective lacquer.
All insects used in my work are ethically sourced and cruelty free.
